Hi!
Updated from 1940 to 1969, Infotainment is buggy and noticeably slow. My car is MY21.
Any chance to go back?

Still 1790 here on a 2021.

Thinking of updating myself as the dealer, Spanish, said there was nothing a year ago when it was still under warranty at its service....

Hi there,
Beware that you have to 1790, as i do, you can't update directly to 1969.
See this:
"If your existing Leon/Formentor software is older than 1890 or you get a checksum error when trying to update then please download and install the included 1899 software release prior to the installation of 1969."

Unfortunately, it still didn't go...
I left my car for 2 days at the dealer, but they had some kind of malfunction on theirs servers, that couldn't communicate with the SEAT factory servers, witch impended that the upgrade could be done.
Yesterday afternoon, i got my car back, with the promise that when the server communication problem got sorted out, they will call me to leave my car there again.
Hope it's soon...

I will share with you the file I made from. Link for 1940 is HERE and link for 1969 is HERE. You do it at your own risk. download the file to disk, unpack it using winrar. format the pendrive to fat32 or exfat. Copy folders DATA and META for pendrive. Start the car. it's more safe than a battery. Insert the pendrive, press and hold the menu button (this on left corner with 3 lines or 4 dots) up to the service menu and press update. We're taking off down there. we wait about 15 minutes. If everything is OK, click resume and the system will restart. the manual is also available for download. Thanks for Jakub F. for file. File verified by 5 people on the Polish forum. Including me. I have update from 1896 to 1940 few months ago and now from 1940 to 1969. I don't know if you can update from older versions.
