No it doesnt look safe..... them tyres are stretched far to much over them wheels it actually looks turd, but seeing as im more into performance than the way something looks is probably why!....but when they roll off the rims i will laugh my bollocks off:p

doubt they will roll off the rims as oyu put it. the dub boys and girls have been doing this for years with no probs. mate of mine had a vr6 mk3 golf with 9" wide schmidts on with i think 205 tyres could have been 215 but hell of a stretch and he had no problems.

mate i had a set like that on 15s not qieut as stretched but the had the nailing of there life and neva skiped! if it wernt safe! i live no were nere a town but ive got a hell of alot of well known twisteys round here neva bin beat and neva had a tyre prob! but i do agree there alot of dubbers that let the side down and make it a bit of a show of thing rather than drive it! i wouldnt do myn like that but i do apreciate it! it is a show thing rather than a driving thing fair enough

Unsafe.. and tyres "have" rolled off rims on a fair few dubbers.

depends if you drive em or just cruise slowly.
