It wouldnt be of any worry where you live, id use the bussiness post to send them to you but i can only offer 2 im afraid. As for where they go you just have to snip off the plug and solder the reistor between the two exposed wires.

so its that easy hey? And i can do it to the plug/valve next to it as well>? WHat is that the N112?

Yup, plus a little bit of heat shrink and insulating tape and your away.

The N249,N112 and the SAI are all the same resistance i belive.

Tea leaf is a common english pharse for a thief.

oh right i suppose its his picture then?

'borrowed without asking' is a better wording for it if you ask me...

but the 2 valves sitting on top of the rockercover are the n249 and n112 so those can both be cleared with each 2 or 3 resistors?

been reading up a little bit more on this. The n249 was the plastic box on top of coilpacks. I have already moved this completely when I did the bypass with just hoses.

Now I have had a good look how both the n112 are fitted. The right one, which was completely bypassed but still had the plug in it, was connected to mani, and DV with the checkered valve in between. I will take all those lines off and will fit new hose from manifold directly to DV.

The second N112 goes to the SAI. However I do not want to remove this yet. So I can just connect a small piece of hose to the nipple on the silver SAI thing?

this one right?

And then the full bypass is done, as long as I solder/connect 2 resistors. 1 for the N112 on the left and one for the other one?

oh yeah, and I also read that I will get an intermitted fault code for blocking off sai with a hose and not removing it.

First of all is this bad? second, what does intermitted mean? That it only comes once every so often?

wait just looked throught myki's thread again on n249 and resistors.

But let me get this straight, I have to block off the hose on the SAI (picture I posted above)?
And I have to block off the one port coming from the turbo? So block off 2 pipes?

Why would I block off the one from turbo doesn't this run freely and not the one of the n112?

yeah I know they do. But right now I first want to do it without removing. I have plenty of other things to fix first which really need fixing. The car has 4 codes atm because of the n112 on the right haven melted completely.

And I need to pass MOT before I start thinking about removing something that has nothing to do with either of the 2 things above...

Ok I actually only have one more question concerning this (i think lol)

Why do you have to block off the acurator port on top of the Turbo? This doesn't run to any of the n112 valves so what does it have to do with the bypass?

OK,

just ordered 4 resistors online, and will be delivered tomorrow for under 5 quid. Then I will at least be able to clear the fault codes, and remove melted n112.

Then tomorrow I am going down to a place where you can rent a bridge, so that I can remove my DP and place the OEM cat. THen off to MOT again, and when it clears, I can repeat the whole process again and replace the 2.5" DP decat again...

gotta love the cars, even when times are rough...

cheers I will keep you updated.

Just managed to be able to use the garage of my father in law coming thursday to exchange downpipe and cat for MOT.

By then resistors will be in the car and it will be ready to actually pass MOT I hope...haha

Ok just now I fitted the 2 resistors and removed both N112's. I blocked off the vac line going to top of SAI and must say don;t notice any difference. As for DV sound also no difference, I guess because I already had it bypassed. Bt most importantly no more Codes and no more Management lights!

tomorrow I am fitting Cat and in afternoon I have MOT again. Fingers crossed
lol
