tarzan get over yourself. I ask things that are not asked 4 times a day...

now as promised here is a picture of the fuse you need to replace

Enlarge it to see the one I circled

Its the 8th from the left, in between the blue one and 2 brown ones. I circled it with red however am really an amateur with editing pictures so can't really see well

as for MOT myki. I failed on emissions of the exhaust and one of my xenon bulps is slightly loose meaning its not pointing properly forward.

About the silicone hose, I realsise that the exhaust gets very hot, however people use the same hose for on top of their turbo (i even saw pictures the other day of people who fitted it on big turbo) right by their manifolds and no problems...

But yes, I will only fit it for MOT then the cat will come straight off again and 2.5" will go back on. I will also start searching for a proper DP wth sportcat.

but again, I will fit it, drive to MOT get it to clear MOT go home, and take the whole lot off again.

that should be fine?

Ok....well the car is giving me a very hard time to love it.
Yesterday besides failing MOT, the fuse went, and I replaced it, only to see it burn through again today...So the question is what could be making the fuse go twice in 2 days?

I replaced the 10A fuse for a 15A one now, so that it can handle slightly more.

So I cleared all codes (9 of them) again, and it was fine.

But now I have engine management light on again, this time not TCS, and it giving me 4 codes:

17695 P1287 Turbocharger bypass valve open

17840 P1432 Sec.Air Inj.Valve Open

17956 P1548 Boost Pressure Contr.Valve Open

18048 P1640 Internal Contr.Module (EEPROM) Error

Anyone have any ideas?

when mine kept blowing there was a wire on coil packs shorting after moving wires was fine, but that fuse is to do with lambda sensor so check thats conencted properly.

which of the 2 lambda sensors? I have only just fitted my second (after cat) after not having it in there for 2 months. Codes were all clear but now those 4 came up as well?

AS for the 18048 I know it has to do with the ECU, which I have to try to clean first. However where is the ECU and what does it stadn for?

Ok so I think I have found the problem...

I can't believe this happened to me, but the N249 valve broke off its fixture and completely melted on the manifold. I had read about this and really never thought it would happen to me.

But I am guessing this might be the problem?
I have the bypass, however never put resistors so the n249 is still plugged in...

here is the problem

and just now I was trying to get DP bolts out, and my spanner broke in 2...those nuts are sooo tight. Engine is still warm so I better wait till it cools...I need to get that DP off to replace it with OEM cat..

As for the resistors, thanks but I live in Netherlands, so is kinda far for you haha

But the reason why I never did the resitors, is because I still don't know where to put them. I have read the guide over and over but still nothing.

Now I am wondering, do I place the resistors (3 i believe) on the wire which now goes to the plug of the N249? The one you see in the picture above?

It wouldnt be of any worry where you live, id use the bussiness post to send them to you but i can only offer 2 im afraid. As for where they go you just have to snip off the plug and solder the reistor between the two exposed wires.
