0-60 time of 1.4

everywhere i have seen says the 0-60 time of the 1.4 is about 14 sec, is this true cause mine feels quicker than that

11 or 12 more like, book figures for SEAT are always conservative. The speed tests usually include things like a passenger, luggage and at least half a tank of fuel etc

sounds more like it to me, as my car keeps up with bigger engine better than those would inidcate

i got like 10 with mine i think ...i but then again i was counting lol i think its about 11ish or 12ish max

well i know people say counting is always gonna be inaccurate

considering i made an vauxhall estate dti 2.2l work to overtake me, took him till 65mph to get past me going from a 40 limit lol

also have beaten an astra 1.8 16v off the line, i got the better start but they were trying to keep up lol

a 2.0 needs over 9 seconds to hit 60 in street trim - a 1.4 is going to be a long way off that...

doesnt it give you a smug feeling tho when you 'get the line' on a bigger engined car when your sat in a 1.4 tho'.. i know i grin quite often, when im out in the 'Red Shed'..

hehe, i paid a fiar old whack for mine unfortunatley but it was worth it. apart from a few paint chips has done 70k and is in pretty mint condition

don't want to spend a fortune though, as i want a leon in a year or so
