Hi, I keep hearing a wind noise coming from the back drivers side door, i checked the window and theres nothing stopping it from going up so i was wondering if it could be a seal or something? Cheers

Is the window regulator the same accross all mk3 3dr Ibizas? What about polos? The regulator needs changing but the motor is fine, would save some £££ if I don't have to get the more expensive regulator/motor

Title says it all really, its on the drivers side window. When I press down it goes down and stays down. But when I press up when it gets to the top, it just goes straight back down again. I have to press to go up, stop before it gets there and click the switch bit by bit to get it to close...

Had a quick search and it didn't reveal anything. Passenger window has started squeaking, but only on the way up. It's fine when going down. Does it just need oil or is this perhaps something more sinister like the window regulator about to go as I know thats a common fault.
