Hi everyone! Last week i bought a brand new FR tdi and i´m happy with my new machine... When it hit the 1000 kms i gave it the 1st push in 6th gear (free way) and the rpm stopped at 4000,doing a speed of 210km/h...is this normal? Everybody says it hits (easilly) the 230km/h! Is it because...

do i need spring compressors to change the top mount bearings or not? thanks

seems to be a little bit melted!!!and the fan fuse has blown out!!! does anyone have a part number for this fuse box as im going to replace it, cheers

car seems to be having difficulty pulling at the top end, been on vag com at the beggining of the month and all ok....had a couple of blasts and it seems to be getting slower:confused: could it be the plugs??any suggestions?? running 210 bhp and 240lb yet 135 is hard work??

I had a collapsed bearing making a racket so at the weekend i changed both front bearings and mounts. But now after driving it both the top 'cupped' plate ontop of the strut inside the engine bay has risin up leaving about a 1cm gap beneath it??? I did like for like so everything is back...

Hi sorry if this has been asked before. I see u can gain roughly 200bhp 300lbft with chipping a cupra tdi but what i would like to know is more 0-60 times before & after & top speeds. currently the standard cupra tdi can reach 135mph where law permits, how much faster will they go with 200bhp?

i've recently bought a LCR210 which i am completely happy with, the only problem i have is that i have to top the coolant level up roughly every 2 months, i don't have any leaks which are visible, does anybody know if this is excessive or normal. any help will be appreciated

anybody help have done a search and cone up with nothing so i ask the Q what would be the best top up oil for a lcr . i now i should just do a full oil and filter change .:confused:

looking around some other posts this seems to be a common prob . i think mine are on the way out as there is a visible gap , and some movement . how cheap / easy to replace?

has anyone ever considered a top mount intercooler and bonnet scoop for the lcr? would it work? does anyone make one? would it even fit under the bonnet? i have a feeling the answer is no on all four counts. :whistle:

okay - sounds vague I know, was told this by the guys that where trying to fit my downpipe (which I cant have wrong type and Milteck unfortunatley dont do one for my engine :shrug: ) have informed me of an oil leak coming from mid to top of the engine at the back of, towards windscreen rather...
