Hi All,
I'm sure i've read in a few places that the mk4 fuel tank has a capacity of 45 litres. After the fuel light comes on I normally drive for around 40-50 miles and then fill up. when I fill up though i've never got more than around 39 litres in and that's absolutely brimming it. Does this...
Is it really needed for the spec and power i am running 285-295ish bhp?
Should i get a Walbro Inline fuel Pump Which goes in to the engine bay or the alikes of the S3 and LCR Fuel Pumps Which are 4 bar?
Thanks

I don't like the way my SMIC is soaked internally in oil, so I'm looking into fitting a catch tank between the crank case breather and air intake. Has anyone done this already as I'm interested in how the tank would be mounted and how to do the pipe work. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
I've been looking into how to fit a catch tank and have been searching for a couple of hours now, and come across a few useful threads, however the people who have done this mod generally speaking seem to have ibizas.
This thread is the most useful...but still nothing for LCRs-...
for those with jabba heat shields where have you mounted your catch tank?
ive searched for catch tank fitting and the ones ive seen all seem to be mounted in the top right where the filter is..
Just a couple of questions out of curiousity.
When the fuel warning light comes on, about how many litres/gallons are left in the tank of a 55 Leon FR TDi?
How does the trip calculate how many miles are left in the tank? Is it on the MPG of the last mile, last two miles, etc?
