right i hate my current cupra speedo and its lights i chnaged the bulbs and just made it worse so what im thinkin is will a mk4 blue glowing spedo from a golf fit in to my mk2 cupra spedo hole :) much advise would be appreciated orr any other alternatives muchos love:help::help:

ive done a search on this and people have said its happened to them and the plugs on the gearbox were either off or bad connections, this isnt the case with mine, nor is there an apparent earth problem, I have had no speedo since August now, and its getting annoying as im not clocking any...

Hello all. Whilst driving tonight, I noticed that my speedo isn't as reactive as I think it shud be. When I'm slowing from 30 mph to a stop it's only just getting past 20mph on the speedo. Is there anything I can do or look at? I've got a tdi 110 sx. Cheers.

Has anyone figured out yet how to change the electric speedo from km/h to mph?

Got a mk5 as a courtesy car at the moment while my car is in. Got to say not mega impressed, does'nt feel a step up from the mk4 more a sideways step. Seems to be lots of cheapened parts such as the washer jets, the remote controls stolen from Ford, Button layout seems really silly, why hide...

Story starts i suppose when i had my hybrid done and blew my gear box. Now have had a recon box fitted and wernt the best company to be honest. Got my car back and my speedo doesnt move and fuel gauge depends whether ure turning right or left on how much fuel i have so have to guess. So...

Hi, I have a slight problem with my Cupra at the moment. When the ignition is turned off the speedo is right down on the 0mph bar like you would expect on an average car. But then when you turn on the ignition, it jumps up to around 2/3mph, and I have checked my speed against my true speed...

how the hell do i remove the clocks from my mk2 toledo? i cant see any screws or anything and the only bit that lifts up is on the bottom of the clocks. i dont wanna keep pulling just incase i break it?? help would be amazing cheers:think:

Me again.The speedo digital read out has gone a bit funny.The mpg reads 40.8 or 40.9 even though Ive been drivin steady and the next screen reads something like 296 miles.Whats that about.The mile per gallon display is my main concern.Why is it reading only 40.9 etc...when I am driving steady...

hello.all new to this site.thought id give it a whirl.i have a seat ibiza 1.4s 8valve.my speedo is nt workin along with the miles not registering on the trip either.ive tryed a new set of clocks but still isnt workin the rev counter is fine tho.jus wonderin what it could be any ideas.thnx
