Right last week whilst having a little play i got carried away and did the un thinkable....... fractured the bloody pedal box!!!!! I did this on the cordoba and straight away thought i'm not paying £300 to have a new one fitted!!!
As you can see the bar that braces both halves of the...
I have to remove the pedal box to get it welded back up due to it cracking. The steering column seems to have to come out to get the box out. Is this right? Is there anything else holding the box in apart from a few bolts? There looks to be a couple of bolts in the top of the box and where it...
Hi all,
I had service on my 2003 1.6S Leon yesterday, and they changed the brake fluid. Now there is approx 1 - 1 1/2 inches of brake pedal travel before anything happens, and then the brakes work fine.
I have searched and see that it could be one of many things - needs more bleeding...

My father drove my car the other day and said there seems to be an inch of play before the throttle engages. Never noticed this myself before. Now i see what he means. Is this normal on the cars or do i need the cable adjusting:p
On saturday i got in my car and pressed to clutch before i started it, The clutch made a loud clunk and hit the floor, i thought the clutch pedal had snapped again but the brake had raised about 3-4 inches about normal height!
Anyone else had this?
Im going to try and solve it now
morning, fortunately, my pedal box hasn't snapped yet (touch wood), however in the last week or so I've noticed a squeak, which seems to be getting bigger/louder each time I press the clutch pedal. I'm starting to worry - is it about to go? What happened when everyone else's pedal box broke -...
Hello Guys,
I already fitted Audi TT alloy pedals to my Ibiza and I think that dead pedal would be great addition to them. I am thinking of getting something like one of these (personally I prefer second one):

But I have no idea how to fit something like this in Mk3 Ibiza (I...
hey guys anyone ever had a problem with there clutch pedal hitting the plastic trim panel at the bottom that protects the steering column? or should there be some sort of stop 4 the pedal? any help would be brilliant
Ok, i know this is common and its happen to nearly everyone on here but here goes.
My clutch pedal box broke as they do, done loads of searching on here and saw the best/cheapest option was to re-weld the old pedal.
So i got the pedal re-welded while still 'ON' the car.
Once welded it was...
Happened twice now in 2 days and never happened to me before. When coming to a stop at traffic lights on both occasions fairly gently the brake pedal has vibrated. Did a search and seems this is to do with the ABS cutting in, but should it be doing this without excessive braking? Car is on 42k...
Alright, just back from the garage where i take my car to, and got them to do the pedal box on my car.
They said they could have taken the whole dash out, box out and put a new one in but the one i have is still fine apart from the clutch bracket.
What they've done is remove the old...
I have a fault on my car which (i cant remember it exactly) says clucth pedal sensor - implausable signal (or something along those lines).
