Right the other week the door lock failed on the beeza so I got a second hand one and fitted all back to normal until...... The girlfriend was at work in it and when she came out unlocked it as usual and the central locking kept making the whurring noise it makes as the locks open it...

I have an 08 altea XL and have 2 young children. What I want to be able to do is lock the car if i go to the shops leaving the children inside but not have the alarm go off? Any ideas what i can do to make this happen? David

It doesnt come on when the driver's door opens. Also, the car likes to lock itself when the drivers door is open - would it be a switch/ sensor?

When I lock the doors with the remote, the drivers side back door is trying to lock but the little plastic pull thing isn't going all the way down. Its really stiff to push down by hand as well. Any ideas where to start trying to loosen it up/fix it? Many thanks
