locking

Hi, my 06 2.0tdi sport will not now open with my remote. I can open it using the key and it will lock using the remote but there is no LED flashing on the remote. I suspect it's just the battery but don't know how to gwt into it and what type it is. I've done a search but can't seem to find any...

i've got remote central locking on my ibiza, and wondered if i can increase the signal strength (apart from changing the battery). Because at the moment i have to stand right next to the car to get it to work Cheers chris

I've done a search on this but cant really find the answer to the problem. Basically I went to get in the car this morning, Only to find the drivers door didn't unlock when i pressed the key fob :( All the other doors unlock fine, its just the drivers door. Strangley it locks ok but wont unlock...

Am I right in saying it is possible to lock the car without arming the alarm if you press the lock button twice? If so is there a sequence? I have tried pressed the lock button in quick succession with no success, do I need to wait for the car to lock and then press the button again?? :confused:

I've lost the locking wheel bolt to my car and have a puncture any ideas how long and how much for a main dealer to get a new one?? don't really want it drilling off :( thanx!

:(every time that i open my car with the key the locks try to open twice this then makes all the windows open fully all 4 of them . I have disconnected the battery to see if this would reset the problem but to no avail any body knows what the hell is happening please get in touch many thanks:(:

I have tried this... sit in car - doors closed 1 ignition on to red lights on dash 2 turn off immediately and pull key out 3 hold 1 of the buttons down (dont matter which) 4 PRESS the other 3 times ( with a SLIGHT pause) 1 . 2 . 3 5 watch led on key (should flash) and doors usually...
