Lately the car had been cutting out, usually withing the first 10 minutes or so of driving. It always happens after I've been driving along and then am breaking for lights or a junction etc. Also noticed yesterday after I stopped on a slight incline at a level crossing that the battery light...

Anyone else had this problem? normally when its damp out and the engine is warm I have real problems starting the engine again, the management light comes on and it takes about 10 seconds to start, when it does go i have to gas it loads for it to kick in properly

Well its still cutting out and its driving me mad .......:cry: the engine cuts out as it reaches running temp...... won`t restart, leave for 60 sec `s then restart and then fine. (get`s a little dangerous in traffic) things changed........... plugs and leads new dissy coil pack oxygen...

Hi guys. I know you cant get a new remote fob etc for the mk2's but i only have one key and have a sudden worry of losing it. how much will it cost and where do i get a new key with immob chip cut?? can it be done at a locksmiths or timpsons etc or has it got to be from the dealer...

Its fine when at idle but if i drive and then slow down it cuts out.. Any ideas? I'm really concerned! I've had the battery, rotor arm, dizzy cap, and amp for dizzy changed and its still doing it. had a really good look around the engine bay for any cracks in pipes etc but cant see...

Hiya, I have an Amp + Sub fitted using my standard Ibiza HU, and its all been working fine. Yesterday, I had my car serviced, so as usual, I took the 2 '25A' fuses from the back of the amp, and the cd cartridge out the changer, so they couldnt use my radio! (And blow the speakers!)...
