hi guys, some where on this site ive seen a picture of a 20vt engine with a stainless steel engine cover. i just wondered if anyone else has seen it and if so does anyone know where i could get one from.
is there any bad points to removing the plastic engine cover and driving without it? Or is there any good points like letting the heat out and keepin engine cooler?

How do you get the engine cover off. I've undone all the clips for the hoses, removed the air filter housing and now i can't get the cover off. Thought it just popped off. Trying to fit my dbilas.

Do any of you guys know if the covers around the front fogs is meant to have the holes at the sides without cover pieces over them.Just looks a bit odd as the adjuster screw or whatever is partially visible.Standard fr bumpers.You can clearly see the hole either side of the fogs.

I have the carbon fibe engine cover bit that fits around the oil filler cap and cant see for the life of me how it fits on the cupra engine cover. the carbon bit has 6 or so lugs on teh bottom...
