Right, my next task is to remove the 6-Disc CD changer in the glovebox, as the space will get more use then the CD changer will. Once again any help appreciated :happy:

Hi there, I would like to know that if I remove the CD changer from under the drivers seat in my Leon, would this cause a problem? Would the radio be looking for it if it was disconnected? Any ideas? Cheers

I reset my ECU a while ago and forgot to find the radio code before doing so. I looked everywhere for the code and couldn't find it so I rang seat and they quoted me £45 just to get my code. So instead I bought a new headunit, however the problem is that now my cd's are stuck in the cd changer...

Is it possible? I fitted my Alpine Head Unit yesterday but the connection coming from the CD Changer and the one on my HU are different. Is there an adaptor I can buy anywhere or am I going to have to buy a new changer?

Need to fasten down the cd changer in the boot but dont know where to fasten it to, where does it normaly be in boot? eg back of seat..? ATM it just lying around in the boot :D

I have a leon cupra with the has standard 6 disc cd changer/sat nav thingy and when i put in cd's it sometimes recognises them and othertimes just says cd error or no cd??? I have tried cleaning the lens but still only plays some random cds when it feels like it any ideas n e 1
