Hi Made a bit of a stupid mistake when setting up my new headunit. Everything went fine installing the new headunit, got the IPOD workin with it so happy bout that, then i realised that i still had 6cds in the damm changer and where it was no longer connected up the eject button dont work...

I have had the the head unit out of my 05 leon 1.9 TDi SE. A brown plug and a black plug fit into the back of it (plus the aerial). Is the remaining empty socket for the CD changer and does this mean my unit is not pre-wired for the changer?

How do you remove this is there any special tools i need or does it just unscrew and out it comes as i want to put a different cd changer in and does anyone know if the a sony cdx-T69 will fit into the back of the standard head unit

is there anyway to fit the standard CD changer into the glovebox?? My bro has his in there on his Leon as standard.

could any body help i have an alpine ai net cd changer but cant find anywhere that sells the adapter or connectors from the standard 12 pin connector in my boot any help please dave:think: :shrug:

took 2 torque screws out and now want to disconect lead, pulled the head unit out and have plugged in at the back, black brown and blue plugs, is any of them it if not were is it at or how do i do it cheers lads

Hi, My Leon Cupra has a CD changer built into the glove box. If i remove this am i goiing to be left with a gaping hole? Is there any way i can have a normal glove box????:shrug:

Thanks for your advise Orangesprout about the changer. Don't want to get anyones backs up, I am actually a leon cupra driver and its my brother who has the bora "TDI". As this forum was entitled "TDI" I thought it was the correct place to put it later I spotted the VAG forum lower down...

this is'nt a seat question but i'm sure someone here will know. Where is the standard position for a 6 disc cd changer in the vw bora?????? and I'm sure VW will already have the lead in from the head unit, any suggestions where:help:
