Yesterday, on the way out of work, car still cold, accelerating from 30 to 40 (so not hard, but using some boost) I had what I assume was a huge misfire followed by a huge backfire.
It was a sudden total loss of power (didn't feel like one cylinder, felt like all of them) that lasted less...
i was having trouble with my ibiza;s boost early in the week wen it was only boosting 10-12psi instead of around 18psi. It was put on a VAG-COM and found that it was mostley my MAF sensor that was toasted and not working properly(as i found it was a comman fault) :( and so i ordered a new part...
what are the various upgrades available? i have the helix clutch at the moment but am going to upgrade, what are the next steps up and where/what is the all singing/dancing best available ? include costs, suppliers and max bhp for each upgrade.
OK, so cars broke again... I thought it was the MAF had the hesitating throttle the works, i was on way to luton and had pretty much no choice but to carry on as i had a flight to catch and didnt have courtesy car on my aa cover.
So it starts off hesitating lots but still pulling quite well...
Question:
LCR comes with 18's as standard. However rumour has it that S3 17's will fit.
My question is, the larger rims get the heavier they get. OK so the rolling circumference is increased, and the rolling mass is heavier, but does this mean:
a) they are heavier to stop revolving...
