Having extensively used the much loved search function on this forum, I have a few questions regarding air filters. First of all, I have a 51 Ibiza Chill 1.4, and I am having some trouble identifying exactly what engine I have so I can purchase the correct filter...

Just had my 20k Altea 1.9tdi serviced and noticed it excluded air filter change. Can't believe SEAT maintenance regime is for a new air filter at 40,000 miles but pollen filter at 20,000 - I know which is more important to me [and the car!]. Paid the money, got the stamp in the book then...

hi newbie here. I have fitted a pipercross filter to my leon but only sounds good when cold, is this because its just a filter and doesnt have al the cold air feed pipes or is there something else i can do :shrug:

Just wondering if it's worth blocking off the engine bay side of the standard air intake as it gets unbelievably hot in there! Has anyone done this and is there a downside, it might make it a bit like a (very) budget Dbilas!!
