I just tried making a pulling away clip but the camera wasn't liking it, there were breaks in the sound, it was muffled like to first clip and the picture was grainy, this was in HD mode but I think the batteries are dying, I'll try again next weekend.

No problems so far, all seems good but I'm not worried as it has a lifetime warranty. The car feels faster, picks up quicker and revs more freely oh and it sounds awesome, 10x better than that video, a real roar.

Hey Jay, your heatshield looks awesome and you've inspired me to have a go myself, made a cardboard mockup over the weekend and the metal is on order :) where abouts did you get the edging strip from and how much do you need? Will hopefully have this finished for the RR day at JKM this weekend :D

Glad to hear it dude, I'm glad all you guys are having a go at this. I bought the following edging strip and I needed 2meters of it justr to be safe...

For the others wanting dimensions of my shield, the top measurement should read 31.5cm, sorry ...

More goodies, the car is really getting treated this month.

30psi Boost Guage. A halfords special but after reading a few posts on here it sounds like it's the best match for LCR dials so I will be happy I think. I've never wired one before so I have no idea what to do

Kit includes: 30psi Guage, t-piece, 2meters of PVC tubing & a bracket - £29.99

From what I can tell the purple wire is the live feed from the lights, black is the earth, orange and yellow I have no idea.

The PVC hose fits over the nipple on the guage easy but getting it over the t-piece is going to be hard as the t-piece nipple is larger than the hose, might need to heat it to get it to slip over.

The T-piece also comes with a metal bung at one end that has a smal hole in it, I assume this is meant to be in there.

I did'nt use the clear tubing in the kit, I got mine from Forge, its much better qulity and it'll go over the T piece easier.
You dont need to block off the T peice, pull the hose off the FPR, put the T in the end of the FPR hose, cut about 2" of new hose and put this on the FPR, then run the rest of the tubing from the T to the guage

Boost Guage Fitting

Hi all,

I'm having a little bother fitting the boost guage. Basically when I lift the plastic panel under the wiper arm on the driver side, I can see where the wiring harness and bonnet release cable enter the car...great as this is where I'll feed the hose but I cannot for the life of me get the wiper arm off so that I can lift this plastic panel off for access. I've used a wiper arm puller but it won't budge, any idea on how to do this? I haven't even begun to figure out how to electronically wire it .
