i think im gonna have a bash at doing white leds on the speedo etc, i'll let you know how i get on when i get round to doing it 
Hmm what colour are they at the moment? Red?

Okayyy, HID's were ordered, and arrived today! Will be fitting tomorrow during the daytime, pics up in the evening
Also ordered a metal footplate to finish off the footwell!

HIDs are now installed.
Okay well, the lights were not easy to fit (ie, they never go in straight! So lots of fiddling and making the best of a bad job!)
They are very nice and pure white, shame one of the beams is slightly astray.

They're from http://www.hids4u.co.uk/ and they are 35W h7R 5000k.
Having a bit of trouble mounting them.. the double sided foam pads they give you to stick them to the engine bay, do sod all... So stuck them on, and found both ballasts dangling around this morning...
Will try and use cable ties tomorrow and fix them somewhere, dunno no idea where.

AHA! Just fixed it!
Firstly I removed the odd diffuser as I didn't like only one headlight having one. Then I realised the bulbs were the wrong way up (nothing mentioned in the installation manual, however I guess I just lack common sense )
The beam is much better now and illuminates everything properly. Will take a picture of the light output on the road tomorrow, as it's frankly too cold for me to spend any more time outside.

If I say pretty please, could you take a pic with just your dipped beam on, stood at the front like you did in the 3rd picture?

3rd pic is just dipped my camera just didnt adjust to the light, hence the glaryness of the picture. What are you trying to guage, colour?
