Oh, no, I haven't ever used PIAA bulbs. I was recommended a set off eBay by a member from SCN who had a good set (meant to be pure white), however I was sent a pair that was very yellow (more so than OEM bulbs!).

I am tempted by PIAA as they have good reviews, but for the moment I guess my cheapy eBay blue-ish ones are okay. I think I have pictures of them somewhere in this thread.

The 'plus' nightbreakers are meant to be slightly whiter, apparently..

Not really sure about any more mods to be honest.. Still got a Cupra exhaust in my garage, which I suppose I could investigate this year.

I recently fitted my dead pedal/clutch rest metal plate the other week to finish off the footwell.

Oh right.

They do look white on the road and they are definately whiter looking than standard halogens. I uploaded a few photos on my readers ride showing the difference.

Foot rest pedal looks good. What about some Seat sport sill guards? Ive bought some the other day, yet to fit them though. Will upload photos when done.

Im thinking about a front splitter and the aluminium vent rings to finish off.

You bought sill guards? Aren't they like £60?! :O

The vent rings really finish off the interior! Have you read through my whole thread? I got more narrow, matt aluminium style vent rings which, in my opinion, are far classier than the wide chrome ones. Another mod, would be the vent 'red cupra' clips. £2/clip and instant clip-on installation.

The splitter really makes the front end look much sportier, and lower. Definitely a great mod!

Hummm, found some LED ones. White LED and glows Amber...tempting...only £5 from Halfrauds...

Better going for LED over Halogen I guess?
Personally I wouldn't touch LED indicators mate, due to LEDs taking a lot less power than a standard halogen, your indicators would probably flash quickly as if you had an indicator bulb blown.

I'd stick to silver coated halogen indicator bulbs, I'm sure there's a pair of Silvatec ones on eBay for £6.95 delivered.

jepps, splitter is a doddle to fit, jack it up, cut the sticky up bits so theyre not sticking above the overall height of the splitter, masking tape it onto your bumper, drill a couple of small pilot holes and screw self tappers in, took me about 20 mins...a few people seal it aswell with black silicone but that's entirely up to you.

When buying parts, send Sere Motors on SCN a note. Much cheaper than other dealers and awesome customer service.

Yep, I did fit the splitter myself. However i did need a car ramp, in order to get the front high enough in order to drill in the self tapping screws. Only took 1 hour and completely changes the look of the front end.

Humm, I've always been confused about flipkeys.

Do you HAVE TO swap your current transponder, or can you simply program a blank transponder to your car using your current key?

Never seen a pic of a centre sun visor, have you got one?

How much do you reckon colour coding would be? £50-60? Seems a bit too much considering the car is black and black strips.

if you buy a flip key with a transponder in it, you can only program it to unlock/lock the car and will need to get the dealer to program the transponder chip which cost me £23. However, if you have two keys, you can just change the transponder over.

Sorry dont have a pic of the centre sun visor, will try and get one for you tomorrow

IMO, the colour coding would finish the exterior nicely, no more polish stuck in the textured plastic and looks lots better. Not sure on the cost as i got a few other things sorted out when i got mine done. Got front bumper re-spayed, side strips colour coded , a chip on the boot lid fixed and the number plate recess on the front painted gloss black for £175. That is pretty cheap and i had a few issues with the quality of work tbh, but i had a bit an argument with the guy and he agreed to re-spray the bumper to get it sorted out.
