Totally forgot I hadn't put on my rear strut brace yet so did that tonight! See how it fair tomorrow!
I can remember it being very fidgety, but predictable, at the rear in the wet, so lets hope it's wet!!

Definatly a big improvement with the rear strut brace for understeer! Had a brilliant drive in this morning! 
Shame it used almost quarter of a tank though..! Still could do with a bit more so I will have to look into rear ARBs at some point, but it will do for now.

Things are moving quicker than I thought in regards to the surprise! Might even have it done tonight!! Things won't be back together until tomorrow though

Finished it. It didn't come out as expected... But I still like it! Have to wait and see it fitted tomorrow!
So here is the update:
Before I started (well as you can see I was eager to start and forgot to take a picture before I had started the removal process):
Everything removed that was needed to be removed:
I didn't get a pre-paint photo but here it is in the oven:
And after I got the black wrinkle paint on, after 3 coats, first put on then 10 minutes before the second then 10 minutes before the last then into the oven at 100 degrees for 2 hours (with the door open as it wouldn't fit):
Another picture. I would have been happy to keep it like this as it looked awesome!:
Then after the blue has dried. I was slightly disappointed with the outcome as the wrinkle effect almost completely disappeared, and the blue isn't really dark enough for my liking:
Once I started fitting it, I started to really like it!

So off they came!

i quite often pay a visit to this thread so thought it was time to leave a comment. your cars looking really good like what you have done with the rocker cover too.

Think a darker shade of blue would look better, still looks nice though. Get a blue forge tip aswell, will add abit more colour to your bay

I agree I would have rather had a darker shade. Might change it at a later date, but probably won't as I'm happy with the way it is.
I am looking for a blue TIP, have got a black one to get it mapped on then I will try and get a swap with someone
I am also looking at replacing some more of the hoses with silicone.Yeah it does which was a shame as I spent a while picking out some paint!

Some new pictures of the car. Just polished the front end. I know the bumper needs refitting but that will be done at some point!
Yeah! Would prefer to have a high flow cat to avoid the hasstle come MOT time, but it was worth it for the price!
Was thinking about heat wrapping it too but will have to look into that.
Just sold my 1.6!! About time as well. Got a good price for it though so I am a happy bunny! Sad to see it go... I suppose!
