Is stage 1 worth it?

I contacted Revo a few months ago and was advised that they are still working on a map for this engine, and that they were hoping to have something this summer.

An Update to this thread, as to whether stage 1 is worth it.
Car is now 3yo and I prob keep it for another 3 years.
I have just had mine done at a local shop that uses alienware and Kessi, then adjusts the map to the car and all checked out on a rolling road , and road test.

I specifically requested to map it for 95RON as 99 is ridiculousy priced IMO (and I dont see the point in anything over 240 for this engine.. to much wheelspinning for a 2WD), and the fuel ecomony in D mode is excellent usually.
What I wanted is the performace improved when in S mode, and on the DSG.
They adjusted everything including torque limiters for the DSG etc.

Results.... D mode.... much the same, but more torque when turbo kicks in, which is just what I wanted.

S mode..... now brutal accelleration compared to before and DSG just ticks changes so smoothly.
Before it was so so... and seemed to run out of puff at higher revs.

According to powerline on the Dynamometer, power peaks at nearly 240 @5000rpm.( Not bad for 95RON eh!)

So... is it worth it?

Definitely not a detuned GTI engine and it uses a continental raax turbo rather than an IS20
It appears, that is wrong.
The link below confirms SuperV8's technical information about the compression ratio being 11.6, but engine code DKZA does run a IHI IS20.
However you are correct in suggesting it is not simply a "detuned GTi", a lot of similarities but not totally, just as the GTI and the R/Cupra/S3 Engine runs a different cam which allows for exhaust scavenging (I forget for which I think it is the IS38 Engines that use it).

Even engine code CZPB uses IHI IS20, which is the other 2.0TSI with 190ps and the AVS system.

No, DKZA turbo part number in the Leon is 06K145654M which is a Continental not an IHI made turbo. See image below of this OEM part:
Haven't checked other models with this engine - or the CZPB.

Not that it matters who made the turbo! but just to confirm again - it is not a turbo from the GTI.
