You didn't need the frame. You could have edited the MIB1 frame.
I wanted everything OEM not cutting down the old frame.

This. Why be a butcher when you can be a doctor.I wanted everything OEM not cutting down the old frame.
I'm a bit confused, the correct frame for an 8" screen will not fit a pre-facelift car! Is your car a facelift with a 6.5" screen?Finaly i am upgrading my MIB2 6,5 inch screen to 8 inch screen. It was hard to find a damage free screen with the correct frame and also for a decent price. Finaly i found one a few years back the prices where a bit lower. Also bought a toolset for the old screen.
It'll be interesting to see what they say... As it was recovered to the dealership then they are obligated to start investigating within 48hrs so will know more either tomorrow or Monday. It was recovered twice, once on the 23rd to a trusted garage and then again today from there to the dealership.Sorry to hear that, hope you did not have to wait to long before they came and picked you up.
Hopefully its an easy fix and covered by warranty.
oh that's not good then, fingers crossed you get a nice new engine for free. Have Seat given you a loan car in the mean timeIt'll be interesting to see what they say... Engine is totally seized and swarf in the oil filter... No warning either, pulled the dash cam footage and it verified it just died under normal driving conditions.
Not yet, they said they didn't have any available but I assumed it's because they need to establish that the failure is covered by warranty before releasing a courtesy car as the warranty will cover that cost too.oh that's not good then, fingers crossed you get a nice new engine for free. It's their used car warranty as opposed to the extended warranty so unsure if there are any differences.Oh no that’s terrible news! Hoping they cover it, but given my own experiences with Seats “extended warranty” they’ll claim it’s been modified or try and declare it wear and tear - even if it’s ridiculous or completely unrelated.
Even a non OEM airbox and they’ll declare the whole thing not their fault
Thanks! They look way better behind the bronze BBS wheels but I'm rolling around on the originals and all season tyres. The yellow calipers look great
