And the divertervalve has been upgraded as well. I went with the Go Fast Bits (GFB) DV+ T9381 instead of the T9351, which still utilizes the stock divertervalve. The T9381 is a full 1:1 replacement which I prefer.

24Tuned gives a nice personal touch to their orders, I like that. The top hat can be clocked to whatever direction you like. Quality is top notch and fitment is 100% (y)

Yes great coding (which they removed from the newer cars) but I have to say after I did this I purchased the stop start memory module for the switch that way I can have it turned off all the time but on the very rare occasion I may want it active I can turn it back on again.

Replaced the cigarette lighter with a voltage meter/usb port version. As I didnt have the special tool to remove it, I resorted to mild violence  I know I wont be using this anymore, so no worries if I would destroy the original part.

The original part always has an indentation to help with the orientation. For aftermarket solutions, you need to grind out that flat spot.

AP1GczM7O9Isinjn-L7yV0GQxXm20lxE4xyFEAxNN9RvRqYzHoI91Bh6hrBpr1DrvX2Liybx-FblRNoArPvyqhOkEgaeJSAmjV19u_c2-V45ftko25tkgEgd9bJVG-e136cV4fHxp4gcsejxWIfKk8fFfd4hvQ=w1920-h1080-s-no-gm

This way I can keep an eye out on charging/battery voltage and have better functionality for charging a phone or what not.

Added sound deadening (alubutyl) to the rear seats. This didn't do too much, but nevertheless a good mod to bring the sound down a little. I added a "flap" over the cap of the fuel pump, so it still is 100% serviceable.

Fun fact, if you have a 4Drive, then you have an extra pump on the other side due to the addition of a drive shaft in the middle which splits up the fuel tank.

Performed my first oil service on the Cupra. Went with Motul 0W40 X-Max, which I had laying around from the CLS55. Any recommendations are welcome!

I didnt do the Oil Flush yet, something for next year when I do another oil change. I did add LiQuiMoly MoS2 though, its a friction modifier. That had great effect on my CLS55 (quieter running engine)

I spoke with Opie Oils in the uk and explained my car setup / usage and they recommended Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 5W-40 Ester synthetic oil which are recommended for BW/Mercs with spec AP1 SL

you said "I didnt do the Oil Flush yet, something for next year when I do another oil change" do you do regular flushes or is this just something you do every now and then as there seems to be a lot of disagreement on the benefits/risks of doing this to often.

@PaulusB no time to waste brother hahah. My car is also my hobby, so that accelerates things. Or worsens things, depends on how you look at it ;)

@tracktoy I dont regularly do flushes. As these are my first oil changes on the Cupra, I will do it now and then maybe again after a couple oil changes. Normally I change oil once per year, on average I drive about 10.000 - 12.000kms per year.

Fuchs isn't readily available in the Netherlands. I drive the Cupra like a daily cruiser/bruiser, I need my car about 2-3 days per week.

Very good bang-for-buck modification, the dogbone insert. I didnt want any added vibration and therefore opted for the weakest Powerflex insert for petrol cars.

Very impressed with the results, power is way more direct and shifting is even smoother & faster.

Partnr: PFF85-830

The dogbone mount in the subframe. If need be, you can also upgrade the mount in the dogbone itself.
