Cupra Leon 2.0 190hp engine remap locked?

Hey everyone
Just got the Cupra Leon 2.0 190hp 2023

Someone who does engine remapping told me that this model’s engine computer is locked, and thus cant be remapped at all.

Is that true? It sounded weird to me because a lot of other cars with the same engine do get their engine remapped…

It depends on what engine it has in it.

I have the 2024 Leon V (Aus Delivered and Feb 2024 manufacture) with the 140kW/320Nm DNNA engine (190hp) and it's the Gen 4 Evo888, and that version is the locked one for sure.

Have confirmed (with VIN etc) with 034 Motorsports that they have nothing available as of yet.

The only option that I have faith in is the JB4 tuning box.

If the engine is an Evo3, then I think the story is different, but if it's Gen4, I think you are SOL.
