Hi All,
Today someone reversed into me in our local multi-storey car park. He had made a mess of turning onto a ramp and reversed for another go running into my trusty FR into the bargain. No real damage caused and I was lucky that the paint hasn't been marked, might need a polish to take out very minor marks. The lower grille had popped out at the drivers side but it popped back into its clips with a little push. The foglight surround however has detached at the bottom right. I've tried pushing it back in but to no avail. I've had a probe with some pry tools but there is nothing obvious like a clip or tab that I can lever to get it to pop back in. The workshop manuals are no longer hosted so I can't look at these to see how it's fixed on. Any suggestions? I'm reckon that I might have to undo the drivers side wheel arch liner to get access to the rear of the fog lamp. I've attached a couple of pictures to try and show what's up. Any help from someone more knowledgeable than me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, good idea DEANO, I've found that another forum member has posted links to the workshop manuals. I've found the relevant manual and it shows how the surround is held on ( with 10 tabs apparently ) so I'll have a go at it over the weekend 🤞 I'll give it a heat with a hairdryer just to give it a wee help along though. Cheers. (y)

Makes you wonder how these people ever passed a driving test! Not only can they not make a basic turn onto a car park ramp, but then they smash into someone elses car trying to have a second attempt. SMH

Popped out the fog light surround yesterday afternoon when there was a break in the weather. It's easy enough when you know where the tabs are located. Had to bend the tabs in the offending area ever so slightly so that they located properly when I put it back on. They had bent because it had been out of place for a week. Looks good as new now, thinking of changing the car in February/March and all this would have done is marked down the trade-in value. (y)
