Hi- bit of a random question as it’s been on my mind for a bit and want to know if it’s normal. My car after a cold start (after been left for a few hours/ over night etc) feels laggy/ hesitant when using the throttle but goes away after a minute or so. Is this normal behaviour for it till it gets up to temperature? Hasn’t really affected me but just want to know. It’s the 1.8t AUQ engine.

TIA!

Probably while the SAI (secondary air injection) is running. Only runs for a min or so at cold starts. Mine will sometimes misfire if you put the engine under load when it's running. I usually just wait for it to switch off before driving away, gives time for the oil to circulate and things to warm up a bit too.
