Car on ebay....

Came across a leon on ebay.. was/am very tempted. Just wondering if any body knew the car

I asked a few questions but didn't get much sence for answers..
I asked is it 4wd as it states.. but it's rhd. So is it a floor swap from a tt or golf etc. Or is it a import fr4 with a bulk head swap from lhd to rhd.
The only answer I got was.. it was lhd. Do I want to come see.
So thought I would ask on here if any one knew the car

It's finished now.. but didn't sell. I am not convinced either. But he recons it was a lhd car and swapped .
I agree with you it's not an R body kit either.
Unless it was a fr4 and then came over here swapped to rhd. But I am not sure what bumpers a fr4 has

Usually have Cupra bumpers, sometimes even pre-facelift but there's no telltale signs of anything.
It just looks like a K04 swapped Cupra

I have never looked in to these befor. But do they make different spec cupra4's

I have seen 1.9pd cupra4, cupra4R so might be lhd 4wd conversion.. I am tempted to go have a look. But it's 4 hours away

I've seen them 1.9 TDI, 2.8 V6 & 2.8 V6 supercharged (which sound absolutely insane!)

I've contemplated importing one for years and doing a RHD conversion but the prices on them are silly now, especially for a decent one.

I'm seeing a lot of adverts out there claiming to be Cupra R's & blatantly not, even sticking an R badge on the exterior.
I even saw a 02 Leon S being flogged as one (which is a 1.6 sport) but the write up was for the R & of course BAM 225 . A lot of dodgers out there.
I've been looking for another too Manic, nearly bought one last week although my OH ain't feeling the love & that wins

I've since found this car for sale on Facebook and considering it's supposedly had a BAM engine swap I'm curious as to why it still has the AUQ inlet manifold and boost pipes?
I've sent a list of questions but no response as yet.
