Looked good as I walked back to it. 9 years old, 96,000 miles and still looks good imho

After a long time im back :)
Someone pushed rear window spray nozzle. Had to remove boot plastic to put it back.
Repaired summer wheels and they are on powercoating in new colour. And also new tyres are ordered.

Anyone anoyed about driver side compartment opening while driving into pothole?!

Welcome back mate! Sounds like you’ve been having fun 😂. Can’t say I’ve had the driver side compartment open up but I’ve had the interior light trim fall out over a nasty speedbump!

I cut a hole in a Beats sub, as a test to unleash the bass reflex channel.
So far I am not unhappy about it!

does it improve the sound in this case? or not :D
Yes, the bass became more "round", like the subwoofer has doubled in size, without being too loud. Now I finally notice any difference when using the subwoofer slider in the sound settings menu.

Was thinking of changing them, but might keep them and buy an APR stage 1 remap instead.
I always loved these alloys, even before I bought my FR. In my opinion, they were the best looking ones for rhe non-Cupra models. But the desire to change is always there so I bought a new set of gloss black Borbet Ys and shod them with winter tyres. Now I use my original alloys in summer, Borbets in winter. 😊

Fitted a time attack roof spoiler, expecting some serious downforce in the corners, should shave a few minutes off the morning commute. It turns out that I can store a s**t ton of stuff in it too 😆

You can use that time saved to clean the wheels 😂
Just the wheels?! The whole car is a mess 😂, made the mistake of giving a proper clean about about a month back, just in time for more salt on the roads. Looked decent for about a day!

Added some LEDs to illuminate the door pockets.

I used two LEDs per pocket and spliced into the window switches (the grey wire used to illuminate switch) so they come on when the headlights come on. I need to reivsit the drivers door, as I doesn't seem to get brighter/dim the same as the other doors.

The pictures show them at 100% brightness.

Edit: had to rethink the earthing of the LEDs as they flickered and seemed quite dim at times. I was using a bolt on the door, but testing it, found it was quite a high resistance. Now using the brown cable at rear of each window motor and they're spot on now.
