MK1 Leon side skirt fitting

Hello everyone me again , with my current mk1 leon it has no side skirts I'm looking at buying some that I've found for sale, in terms of fitting could you get away with a few self tapping screws and double sided tape, I've found this other forum about needing clips and riverting them to the body of the car.
Sorry if this is painful to read very clueless with this stuff ish TIA

You're probably best attaching the clips to the skirt and putting tape on the clips (the red permanent Unibond tabs stick well in my experience). Then stick to the car and see if you can screw in some self tappers into the holes.
