Hi,
According to the forum the asymmetric 5 tyres on a fr Leon 1.4 are very good so just wondered how much better the asymmetric 6 is if it is at all.
Has anyone had the 5's and then had the 6's
Thanks

The 6's will be a step up.

I found the 5's quite a noisy tyre

Watch this vid especially the results around 13 mins.

Get much more life / grip with a Michelin Pilot Sport 5. After this vid thats what i went for

Thanks for the reply. As above no link the tyres are 225/40-18's if that makes a difference.

For normal road driving all the premium tyres are much of a muchness. I ran Dunlop Sport Maxx's for years as they wore well and were a quiet tyre with decent grip.

I've had Dunlop's in the past and they have been great also rainsports from Uniroyal but the reason I'm asking about Goodyear tyres is that ATS and one or two other places are offering free fitting on Goodyear tyres at the moment so it makes the asymmetric 5 about £330 and the 6 £355 for four fitted.

For an extra £25 you should get the newer tyres
