I think you will find it's your order number, email and VIN number that they use to identify you. I for one, have no intention of giving them genuine passport or driving license details after 3 millions VAG customers in Canada and the USA had their data hacked and sold on a few years ago.
That's the details they ask for, with actual car purchase stuff. Anything to do with iasues with OTA purchases they ask for different bits of data ie your name and ID number.
Giving false information could (if they were petty enough to proceed with it) render you liable to prosecution as its effectively fraud, entering knowingly false information to obtain a product. As someone who has lived in Spain, it is very much frowned upon and the penalties are very harsh indeed.
May as well either enter the information as asked or not continue with the purchase, it's your choice at the end of the day, the second you potentially bring fraud into it, it no longer becomes your choice and it could have greater repercussions (unlikely but potentially).
