Ordered VZ2 (2.0 TSI 245) in mid July 21. Last status from dealer last week: there is no production week in the system yet.
Specially annoying when I know people that order the same engine in August and October and the have build weeks in April.
Looking at the delays it could be even a MY23.

Does seem very random, I've had confirmation that my Seat Leon built week 11, is on a boat on its way, which I ordered 11th August. Doesn't seem fair for some.

Ive just got off of the phone with dealer principle - i finally have a code 10 build week of WK18!
Sorry to burst your bubble, but isn't 10 est build week, so could change!?

Yep, 10 is Estimated, but its the first movement since September when i ordered, so its a good thing either way!
Hopefully I might get a build week soon then !

The list price of the car at the time a car is first registered determines the VED rate. So if the list price was below £40k at time of ordering but is over £40k when it’s registered, then the luxury VED rate will apply for five years from the second time the car is taxed (so from years 2-6).
Don’t forget that first year’s VED and the first registration fee need to be deducted from the list price, and it’s that figure (list price minus year 1 VED and first reg fee) that‘s used to determine whether or not a car is liable for the luxury VED rate.
Getting a bit concerned now. Seeing a few people get build dates who’ve ordered a month or two after me whilst I haven’t got anything and having to do all the chasing
Is anyone following United Spirit!?? It was due in to Sheerness, early this morning, but it seems its still going or its "decided" to not stop? As the direction is out of Sheerness!!?

Probably the designated berthing place at Sheerness is still occupied by another vessel, so United Spirit is having to wait before it can dock - a bit like an aircraft having to circle before landing because its designated landing gate at the airport is occupied by an earlier plane.

The order that VAG builds specific vehicles or prioritises one car’s build over another has always been a bit of a mystery and there seems to be no logic to it. Maybe yours hasn’t been built yet because of supply chain issues that are affecting your specific car that don’t affect some other customers vehicles that were ordered later than yours. I’m just guessing though.
Got an update from my dealer. Confirmed CW18 for production. Updated the tracker.
I have the same car in red. I ordered 3 weeks after you, so I hope I hear soon too.

Only order my Cupra leon in feb. House got burgled and the bastardo’s took the Golf R. Just had an email saying I have a confirmed build week, week 17, end April.
hoping I may get the car before June.
