When did you order, when is it arriving?

Go into infotainment settings (not car) and select system information. You’ll see a screen like the one below. Mine is a July 21 build with a minor update last week.
So I’ve had confirmation that my car was built last Thursday (20/01) which was in it’s allocated Build Week (BW3).
Any ideas of ship numbers or names that it might be on or will be on? It’s a long shot but I remember seeing a load of people here able to track the exact ship and route their car was on haha

I use Marine Traffic to check, United Spirit is currently on route to Santander after leaving the Netherlands so possibly may be on this when it gets back to Barcelona. Aquarius Ace has just left Barcelona and is on route to Tanger in Morocco so you might have just missed it. Great news that your car has been built though! Mine is confirmed for next week!
Decisions, decisions.....
I'm getting close to having to make the decision on whether to wait for a new one, or a nearly new one
Whilst I'm not in an immediate rush for one or the other, do I want to be waiting up to a year either (Going by at least one post on here) the main reason for my frustrations is the fact that you can pay damn near as much (Sometimes more!) for a "Secondhand" low mileage model as you can for new one, dealers playing on people's lack of patience, and the Global demand problems I guess
The model I'm looking at is a V2 in Auto, either Magnetic Grey or possibly "Camouflage" although I read somewhere on the site this has been stopped as a colour choice for the V2 trim now?
I'll be looking around March/ April time for ordering so I'm guessing around Sept/Oct for delivery...possibly

If you’re paying the same price as a new car then that for me is the answer I’d need. I’d rather wait and be the first owner of a car than to worry about how badly it might’ve been driven in the 500-600 miles that a nearly new car was driven before you.Decisions, decisions.....

It looks like the days of a car just being sat there waiting for parts is long behind us, hopefully you get yours soon mate!
If you download the app on your device, you can set up ping notifications when they arrive and leave port. I was like a child waking up at Christmas just to check my phone to watch the ship getting closer to the UK... I didn't actually know if my car was on the ship but you know, it was fun (and it did actually turn up!!)

Need to get the part-ex detailed and pictures taken of it, any ideas on who’d give the best price? I haven’t got it valued by the dealer yet but after previous experiences, I’m looking to get low-balled if I stick by them.
I've not sold mine yet but Motorway were quoting about £500 more than WBAC for my 64 plate average mileage Tiguan.

I just sold a 4 year old BMW 1-series for £15,500 (best offer I could get) and it had 2 scuffed alloys, a couple of small scratches on the paint and once they lock in the valuation, the transport guys who pick it up don't do another valuation. They just pay off any existing finance and then the remaining equity goes into your designated bank.
I wouldn't sell my car with anyone else in the future.
Ordered Sunday 23rd Jan, pick up sat 29th Jan, I feel lucky after looking at some of the wait times I see. Lucky the dealer had in stock what I was looking for. I gave up waiting on my Hyundai Tucson with no delivery date in sight. I think have made the better decision going for a Formentor
