My VZ2 310 was delivered last month. It’s midnight black with black lettering. No VZ badging. I like the understated mystery. Chrome’s too brash for me.

My Black VZ3 came two weeks ago and has chrome lettering and would have much preferred the black with being more stealth - no VZ badge thankfully :)

Just got a call back from my dealer - "Current build week is Week 1 of April, but this could come forward if things improve".

So at present, I'm looking at delivery about 3 months later than expected. RIP.

Brilliant! How did you get them to cave in then? :ROFLMAO:
I pestered them  to be fair, since the start of this process I've only ever seen movement after I've had a well worded moan to them. I've booked Thursday and Friday off, that'll be a few tanks of fuel gone!

HI, I ordered through my local leasing company and order was accepted by Cupra on 22nd June 2021 for the Cupra Formentor ESTATE 2.0 TSI 310 VZ2 5dr DSG 4Drive / Estate - however delivery dates never seem to transpire and no information as of today of a build date just provisional March delivery!??? Has anyone else experiences this, as I see people getting delivery of their vehicles with purchase date after June!?! getting incredibly frustrated.

Hi Colete, I feel your pain! I placed an order for a VZ1 245TSI Formentor on the 1st June from Leasing Options. I received an email 2 weeks ago saying that the car is confirmed to go into build week 5 (w/c 31st Jan) and hopefully will see the car sometime in March. Unless there're more delays!

I also ordered the same model as you and it was accepted by Cupra on the 22nd June. Mine was built just before Christmas and gets delivered on the 27th January. Not sure how the orders are processed and there doesn't seem to be any real method to it. Hope it arrives sooner than you think!

It depends on the leasing company or dealership that you’ve ordered from. At the very least you should expect confirmation of a proposed build date, then confirmation of build completion and finally, arrival at the UK port.

Fantastic news! You'll love it. Have you managed to find a home for the BMW yet?

@General Dryness - Just sold the BMW for £15,500 which I dont think is too bad considering its 4 years old now, MOT due in March and will soon need 4 new tyres. The company buying have already done the valuation and they use a 3rd party transporting company so no inspection upon arrival.

It goes Tuesday so not much time between getting the Formentor.

That’s a nice piece of business! Only a day or two without a car. I’m sure you can live with that. Hope the Formentor lives up to expectations. Mine certainly has.

I got decent money for my BMW as well. I was very surprised, especially seen as it was from a dealer. Bonus was that because the value of my 4 series had gone up in the time I had waited, the monthly payments on my VZ2 310 came down £45.

I sold my 1 Series back to the BMW dealer in June that I bought it from before I had even thought about a Formentor. I was actually looking to get a BMW 128ti or a Mini Clubman JCW.

Anyway, I had my 19 plate 1 Series for 19 months added 6,000 miles to it, and they gave me £600 less than I paid for it at 5 months old. I was also amazingly £2,500 in positive equity and then they sold it for £2,000 more than I paid for it.
