Well five and a half month wait then almost didn’t get it today as they had to replace the front radar but I loved the drive back (dampened by picking up a screw in front tyre already from the industrial area my partner works in).

Does anyone know if the "Aquarius Ace" is the vehicle carrier that always transports SEAT/CUPRA from Barcelona? As if so, and @Gordon Blair you will enjoy this, the cargo ship docked at Barcelona this morning... so we could be on the same ship!!

Give it a day or so in Barcelona then a few days at sea. Next thing you know it's docking in Sheerness then Grimsby. Well, at least that's what happened with mine. I thought mine would be on the ship after Aquarius Ace (usually United Spirit) but I was pleasantly surprised when I got the email.

Good luck to all. It's worth the wait!

Fingers crossed As General Dryness has said it might be because Aquarius Ace has only docked in Barcelona this morning, so the systems may not have been updated yet. It'll be interesting to see what's happening with the shipping of cars at the moment whilst the factory has temporarily halted production

Do they shut down production with completed cars still in the warehouse? Or do completed cars go straight down to the docks and awaiting processing?

If its not on the Aquarius Ace, United Spirit is currently on its way to Amsterdam, so that won't be TOO far behind. I will keep checking and updating

I've mentioned before that there seems to be a black hole of information when the car leaves the factory. The next time you'll know for certain where it is, will be when you get the call from the dealer/leasing agent saying that the car's in the UK.

Thanks for the info guys. JCT600 have been quite good with updates, so hopefully they will (if they can) advise once it has been assigned to a ship and then I can track it like the geek I am i've already put push notifications on my phone for when both cargo ships arrive and depart ports.

My car was completed and then spent weeks at the factory. Once they leave for the port it was reasonably quick.

Mine was 12 weeks but only because of the semiconductor shortage. It can be as little as 5 weeks (2 weeks standard build time then 3 weeks transport)
