If it was built week 42, which is this week, I find it hard to believe that it's been built within two days and left the factory for the port already? I was told by Cupra, as have others, that the build process takes approx 10 days when everything is in place, and then another week to two weeks before it is on the vessel to the UK.

Also that is a very fast turnaround from ordering on 24th September and being told a provisional build of 4th October only 10 days later, let alone actually being built just over three weeks from order.

Maybe I was very lucky and got assigned a vehicle the dealership were ordering as stock? all I can share is what the dealership have told me. On Monday they could see it was being built but no chassis number. Yesterday chassis number was assigned and it was leaving the factory for the port.

The day has finally arrived for me. I’ll be picking up my VZ2 in a couple of hours. Just hope it’s not a lemon like some have received!

Just had an email from my dealer. The car is built and is waiting at port to be shipped to the UK. VZ2 310 Midnight Black, no other extras. Ordered 25/05, Build week 32 (9th August). It's been a long wait but it's good to see some light at the end of the tunnel!

I ordered mine on the 02/06 and I still dont have a build week (Just called NVC to check)

Any specific reasons why some builds are quicker than others? I see a lot of posts of people ordering a lot earlier than some others and they’ve still not received the car yet despite the later orders being fulfilled sooner?
If I knew some variants are quicker than others, I would’ve opted for those instead ha

Ordered a VZ 310, leather interior on 31/05. Building started on 11/08. Delivered at the dealer 19/10.

Picked my VZ2 up today and very impressed with it so far. Infotainment is quick and responsive and the car itself is stunning, even my wife is impressed. Not had a chance to do much yet and I’m sure there will be teething problems at some point, but everything these days has minor niggles at one time or another. I’m sure I’ll be back with some questions at some point, but for now I’m just enjoying looking at it.

So I finally got the good news. Ordered at the end of July, confirmed delivery was 37th week. Arrives next week, so the final delivery is week 43. Delay was precisely 6 weeks so that I can't cancel the order (If it was more than 6 I could've cancelled it without penalty). Spec was matte blue 310hp with brembros, sunroof, beats audio and everything imaginable, not a single thing from the specs was left out, even got the black aluminium pedals.

Sadly I am going on a month long vacation now, so my baby will be waiting at the dealers.
