Had a similar story this morning from them. When I asked about my car I was told, "order updates are on hold at this moment of time due to system updates. We suggest you contact us in few weeks time". When he said a few weeks time I questioned him and said that I was told to contact you on Monday coming, but as someone with the same build week had their car confirmed as being built yesterday, I wanted to check if mine had any more progress.
When I told him this he said, "We can not see updates, therefore ask you to speak to your selling Retailer directly to obtain this information." I then told him that I spoke with my retailer on Tuesday who said the car was showing as Status 20 and awaiting a build date. When I advised my retailer that I had spoken directly with Cupra and my car had a confirmed build week and was actually built and awaiting microchips, he told me that I knew more than him! So, so much for the retailer being able to give me more information. Cupra then just reiterated their last statement. That is the worst dealing I have had with them so far. They have usually been great with updates and apologetic for delays, but today was a different story.
