Hows was booting up with being logged in? Mine was pretty much instant then added phone and slightly longer to boot up. Was wondering if logging in as a profile would slow it down even more, as needs time to boot various things.

First time it was slow but now I get in and it boots up within a few seconds and connects to my phone without any interaction from me (obviously my BT etc is already on). It’s so much improved from my previous VZ, I even went round to my mate (VZ Edtion owner on here) and he tried his new Android phone in my car. Connected wirelessly to Android Auto right away but his VZ still won’t. He also acknowledged the big improvements.
I’ve been told my car ordered mid April is on the ship due at Grimsby 16th September. A couple of weeks to wait I think (hope)!
Great news! With all the luck you've had I bet you were surprised when they told you the news.
I was! I’m still not 100% confident as only two days ago my car was still at the factory according to Cupra. The ship had already left!

That’s a brilliant link! I’m pretty sure that my car may we’ll be on there (ordered 13/5, due for delivery at the supplier during the week commencing 11/10). It makes you realise how slow ships are and (of course), how much slower the trip is when you have to navigate the whole of the Iberian Peninsula before heading north to the UK from Spain - it’s almost Victorian!

I ordered 310hp version mid March. They promised delivery before end of june. That didn't happen and after that they couldn't say any date for delivery until now. New building week is 8 next year. So 13 months from order to delivery. I cancelled the order. I'm now getting Polestar 2 next month. Total change for plans but I'm happy with my decision.
That’s absolutely abysmal service. I did the stats on a Tesla Model 3 through my business and when you take the fuelling/charging, income tax, etc into consideration the Tesla won. The difficulty was convincing the Mrs that a £425pm commitment, range anxiety was worth it. Good luck to you!

Hi folks, had been looking at this forum for a guide about the Formentor prior to ordering and now for how people are getting on with deliveries. Thought I should sign up as I might comment occasionally.
I ordered a 2 litre 245 VZ1 back in May. Have been asking the broker but getting nowhere with updates other than they thought it was getting built week commencing 30th August but then didn't.
Have been contemplating cancelling my order as it's definitely not going to be here in time for me to return my current car so I'll either have to extend that lease or find something else.
Anyone else order around May time and been given firm updates on when they can expect it? I was originally told late October and now can't get an ETA out of the broker (who bizarrely won't let me know who the dealer is the order went through)

I also ordered a 245 2 litre at the start of June. Was told around mid-end October when I ordered. Initially at the end of July I had a unconfirmed build slot for week 40. That disappeared and had nothing. I spoke to Cupra last week and I now have an unconfirmed build slot for 38- next week. I’ve just sent them a message to see if I have an official confirmation just waiting too here back now. Have you got an SLI number of your broker? If so Cupra are much better at giving updates when asked

No, haven't got the SLI number it was leasing options I used and the account manager doesn't want to put me in touch with the dealer it was ordered through.
Have told them I need some kind of idea how late the car is going to be as the want my current car back. Guessing they want used car stock.
Be interesting to see if they're going to build all the 245 engined cars in the same block.
