what did you and your mk3 leon do today

Took it for a full service, mot and aircon regen. One advisory, small leak in rear shock absorber. I’ll get both rears done next time, anyone had them done before, if so how much £££?
Was this done at a SEAT dealer ? I had the same for my front shock at last year's MoT/service at SEAT. Left it and no mention in this year's MoT (done elsewhere - passed with no advisories) and service (at same SEAT dealer). However SEAT now say rear shock leaking excessively - immediate replacement required £200. Given this was 5 days and 20 miles after the MoT was done (and the leak in the front shock from previous year has mysteriously gone away) I'm not convinced ...

Any pics? Where did you get your spacers from? The 15mm spacers I bought don’t fit on the rear bearing housing.

Invoice says they are Hubcentric £50 a pair, you will also need the extended wheel bolts as well £10 per 10, if your car has alloy locking bolts you will need to order the correct ones to match your key as well ontop of that.

Hope that helps.

Have you got a link to where you bought them from?

Ok there from hubcentric but brand is Precision. Hard to tell in photos of spacers but they look a lot better in person with the slightly wider stance. I will ask the mechanic what the part numbers are next week when i see him.

Front stock, no spacers

Nah it was done at an independent, light misting of oil, said to keep an eye on it. They never said it needs doing, just me trying to keep the car in good condition.

Not today but recently. Remap ECU + TCU. Only mod is intake and some nice fuel and E85.

Does 0-60 mph in 3.5s (dragy confirmed) full weight on stock wheels, mental.

Cheers fella.

I got them from eBay, listed for the Cupra but meh they fit.

The only thing I would say is the listing shows them fitted behind the standard arch liner but for that to happen I think you have to cut into the arch liner (not that the listing says that!!) so I’ve fitted them on top & they still look good.

Saw this and thought I'd have a go a making some from some ABS carbon effect sheet I already had. Noticed there was a third, unused fixing point behind the arch liner, ordered the square plugs and screws from ebay so they're now held on by 3 screws. difficult to see on a black car but I'm happy with the result, cost me £4. They look better than the 1s I bought for a fraction of the price as well. I’d happily buy a set of them if they were available

Thanks. If I remember, the A3 ABS sheet was around £10 from ebay and I only used about half of it, I cut it with heavy duty scissors then I cleaned it up with a fine grade sanding block. Some of the stuff on there has a really lame carbon effect, this wasn't too bad though. Extra fixings for the arch liner was these, Arch liner fixings.

Where did you pick those mats up from if you don’t mind me asking. Ideally I just need to replace the driver side one so not looking for a whole set if I don’t have too.
I got a full set from my local dealer, I think they were about £65

I stayed home again today , but I did get a good wash and leather even though I haven't been far for several months :D. Even mummy's car got washed and leathered. (no prizes for guessing the make!)

Fitted the jingling carbon effect bonnet lifters I ordered on an impulse last week. Couple of minor gripes but for the price a good, cheap and quick mod.

Fitted mine today, only issue I had was not realising I needed to lift the bonnet higher than the support to clip the strut on. I was trying to compress it with 1 hand and introduced my neighbours to some strong language.

I noticed with mine that where it stops supporting the weight is the perfect height to release to bonnet to close. Pretty happy with them for the price.
