I have noticed this behavior sometimes on Audi Q2 which is 4 years old so definitely this is an issue with all VAG products and don't think there would be a proper solution for this soon.

Formentor System Errors

Mine had a full system update overnight and an over the air update when I went to collect.
All seemed fine on the way home.
No fix for the dodgy wireless charger (doesn’t work anyway with iPhone 12 I was told, mine is an 8).
Fault logged re rear indicators, wiring checked, all ok. Fault cleared.
Screen seems to boot up ok now also.
Wireless air play still works fine.
Puncture repaired.
All in all, happy with the service from Cupra Woking, nice bunch in there

We had lenghty discussion in another thread and I thought it's related to lack of information about speed on the road. But then someone else had another theory. I definitely experienced it on M25 twice in the same area, so it's not accidental or random. If anyone is regular on M25, observe the behaviour of ACC between J12 and J9 anti-clockwise.
In my case, charging Samsung phone misbehaved once to the point, that I got the cable connected. But it's ok since then and didn't have to resort to cable again. I think that the pad is in convenient location and I use it all the time.
I read about iPhone 12 issues on another group and it's apparently known issue with iPhone itself and its wireless charging. Also read that for some people charging disconnects and connects back, when phone moves on the pad.

Car went in today for 4 issues:
ACC slowing down for cars on left
Popping in speakers intermittently
Screen scrambling
appearing on dash
Was told the last 2 were linked.
Popping speakers known issue too as with ACC
Seat said they are awaiting a software update to rectify all of the above. Hoping for this to arrive in coming month but I sensed they weren’t really that sure.

Just an update on this.
Car in garage Friday where they found there is a split hose which is causing the coolant leak. Must have been a faulty part from factory.
That is my car after two months in the shop and multimedia unit replacement.

I had the speed limit at 110 for the first time last night, coming down the M3 slip road at Lightwater heading West.
Soon changed to 70 though.
I tell you what though, had a play around with lane assist, basically turned it off. It’s a different car altogether without that!! No more fighting the steering. Cant wait to get the blooming thing coded out somehow or at least defaulting to “off”.
Was out for dinner last night with some friends we haven’t seen for yonks and it was quite amusing, one lot have a new Leon, another have a new Terracco and my Tormentor so we had a long discussion regaling the pro’s and cons of the big screen and we were 2-1 that it was a bit meh.
The chap that loves it uses it exclusively with car play.

It depends on when the car was built. If the car is newer it's 1803 and I think if it's older its 1672 though pls can someone confirm that.

Just took a look. Mine is running 1803. Finding the keyless entry being a bit glitchy, almost like the car has a brain fart, boot when open and car won’t lock! Seems to be a common problem from reading a few threads on here
I think the issues are all a bit random, mine is running 1790 and (touch wood) my only issue has been the SOS warning coming on once which sorted itself. My keyless entry works perfectly so maybe it's a hardware issue?

It’s only happened a couple of times and apart from that it’s been okay (touch wood) but good idea I’ll video it if it happens again
New one for me today. Had “Parking function is currently unavailable” message on the dash whenever I went into Reverse, and no rear camera (not sure about sensors).

I’ve had new errors today (it must be the rain). My car would tell me there are delays of random times on random roads even when I’m not using the navigation system and straight after the announcements I would get several errors saying break assist and any other system to do with the car’s radar is not working. This would clear after 5-10 minutes and then repeat the process again 5-10 minutes later. When I got home and put the car in reverse I was greeted with a blank screen instead of showing the reversing camera. I do get the random speed limits being shown including a 5 mph limit on a 30 mph road. The most annoying thing that I have had is not being to use the kick move or button to open the boot and would have to press and hold the boot opening button on my key to open it.
I have done nearly 2000 miles now and loving my Formentor to bits and would happy order another one. I’m just glad I only had to wait 10 weeks for my factory ordered car and feel for those of you that have long waiting times.

Okey, here we go.
Today I got all the driving assistance error message at the same time. And also a black screen. Bcs its so ******* warm outside I put the acc on 18.5C and full blow. Cant change that now and I have to drive 4 hours to work tommorow and then 4 hours back...FML.

It will hopefully have reset by then. The black screen problem has happened to me twice and gone away after locking and unlocking.
