You're 40 and get to build a race car, god I want to be old! :D truth be told im not that far off but I'm stuck here trying to get a 3yr old to sleep. I can only dream of fitting a few bolt on parts ive accumulated during lock down waiting for when the stars align and both the wife and daughter are both out for a more than half an hour.

Right been on holiday but now Got a day at the workshop... started stripping the rear axle to fit the new one. Got new axle. Stubs ,bearings, and 300mm conversion kit and cupra r calipers to go on.. But hit a problem. Not got a 30mm bi hex here so now that's stopped lol

So now it's for the axle hanging brackets to the under side and then fix the axle at least lol.and the the shocks and springs

I got new bolt kits from a brilliant company called vag bolts. They do every bolt needed. I am slowly fitting complete new set as I go. Shocks are gas with hight ,damping and rebound adjustable settings.. hopefully I can remember to grab a socket from work tomorrow then I can finish off the rear end. I gotta remove the front subframe again as I have some thing special comming next week. So I may have my front end set up for sale... new subframe with solid mounts. Then the lower armshave the powerflex camber adjustable bushes in the front. But they are the 30mm diameter in the 45mm arms but with the cbauto sleeve to have reduce movement and flex. And the rear bush is the spherical bearing set up from powerflex too.. I will price it all up later so see what the sale price might be ... Right best get on and fit some of these new buts I keep buying

Gotta send them back for modification. Might have to go for remote style adjusts ..... yet more expense.
Any way got on with doing the rear near side arch. Doing the fibreglass to help blend it in.

Left the rear beam in and fitted the neuspeed 28mm rear antiroll bar and drop links. Have left out the bolts for the brackets as I have stainless steel ones comming don't really want things going rusty

Then on to the front.. looking back I fitted new subframe with solid mounts. New lower arms with camber adjustable bushes with sleaves and spherical rear bush/bearings. New ball joints. Referbed steering rack with new rods and ends. Costing a small fortune a quick add up I think that stood me in about 8-900 lol...... But then an offer of a life time came up (@Nizza)
I can't put in to words so will just up load the pics.

When the rear shocks come back from being modified.... I gotta buy some wheels...... 18 x 9.75 I gonna run . Then it can be on its wheels... Then more fabrication fit seat rails and steering colour set up and window net bits. Then it should be not far off painting the inside. But of finishing off on the body then start painting the out side and all the panels ..... No where finished at all but now it seems to be moving and have visable progress all comments and ideas welcome
