Ok, whilst not quite the right part (I couldn't find an illustration of the actual one they took off mine) this image gives a much better idea of the shape of the old type end:

You can see it's very different.

Yes that looks very much the same as the one I pointed you to in my last post and what is on my wife's 2015 Polo, looks like they continued using that design until 2018 judging by the ebay listings.

If you look on that link, but instead of looking at that one, look for the 2017 SEAT Ibiza one also offered, that is exactly what the linkage on my wife's 2015 Polo 1.2TSI.
Sorry RUM, Demonstrating my absolute ineptitude with computers again. Afraid i can't find it. Is it like the last one I posted?

Yes, in your original ebay link, when you look on that item, you should get offered similar items below, if you start looking at some of them like the 2017 SEAT Ibiza turbo, then click on it, it will open up and show a few extra views of that other turbo etc and some of the pictures give you a good view of that rod.

Good evening. Ive been informed that the actuator needs replacing on my Seat Ibiza (2015 1.2 TSI FR). Wondered if the original poster resolved his question? I too need to know which length rod to get and cant find the info anywhere!

You will need to confirm which version of engine that has as when I was looking for a new Polo or Ibiza for my wife in April 2015, SEAT still seemed to be selling Ibizas with the older 1.2TSI 8V chain cam driven engines, while VW were only selling the 1.2TSI 16V belt driven cam engines and even at that time making sure that I would be willing to accept an equivalent 1.0TSI engine with the same 110PS output!

As far as I know the earlier engine with the chain driven cam has the turbo on the front of the engine and high pressure fuel pump on the top towards the timing chain end of the engine near the oil filler cap clearly visible. The later engine with it's belt driven cam has the turbo tucked down the back and it's high pressure fuel pump towards the N/S, often "hiding" under the air filter housing. Once you've seen them both it's very easy to tell the difference at a glance. If you put the engine ident no. into google - for instance mine's a CHZB - you'll get ads from breakers popping up with images you can compare. By this measure, CBZB seems to be the chain cam engine.
