Sounds good!!!
I ordered Nov and got a build week of 5 but not had any confirmation yet....
If mine turns up at the same time it'll have to wait until I get back from skiing.......

To be honest that date of 9th March hasn't changed since I ordered it... so who knows

For those who have recently received their new cupra do we have a definitive answer to run in

What do I need to do to run in the car in properly ?

also I just got a new Ateca and when I change the led lighting colour it changes the colour on the infotainment screen and dials other than the speedometer needle.

does the cupra do this ?

I.e if I have it set to blue the touch button for example ‘settings’which has like the lines around it showing it’s a button are blue on my Ateca and the central bit on the speedo for example which shows your speed or oil temp or w.e is surrounding in a rectangle box and this is blue.If I changed the leds to red these things also change and is brilliant.
Run in information is in the owner manual as below and per image.. basically stick it in comfort mode and drive like a grandad for first 5-600miles.. good luck with that! ;)

I ordered a black cupra st lux on 30 December and it's getting built next week. Looks like build times are improving but it's hardly surprising since they'll be stopping production of the mk3 soon and presumably will want to fulfil existing orders before then.

My current car (a white cupra st) goes back at the end of march so should tie in nicely. Looking forward to the new one. I wanted the bucket seats on my last one but refused to pay the extra £1300 at the time for them because it was on a lease. Buying outright this time and buckets now cost less with lux plus it includes additional toys (keyless etc).
Was this a new factory order or did you piggyback on an existing dealer order? Ordered my Magnetic Grey with lux pack last week and trying to gauge rough delivery time. My dealer’s just saying up until the end of May...

How does this generally work - will the dealers be made aware of the cutoff - i.e. once the order has been placed will they complete the order or will they reach a point where they simply turn round and say sorry we have had to cancel the order. Not that I'm worried or anything......

U might end up with the last ever desirable cupra.

It is a new factory order. I was quoted an April delivery but looks like I might have it sooner.

I feel I can see the finish line now. Can't wait to get in the thing, The break in period seems a little OTT I have had a look round on the internet and maybe I'll have to be a little careful for the first month :drive2:
Mine is going to be sat on the drive for 8 weeks :( Having shoulder stabilisation surgery which I'm not allowed to drive with. And i don't trust anyone else to drive the car sensibly for it's first 600-1000 miles.

I think our Cupra hatches with 20 plates are going to be a good bet for value in a few years

I think they have nearly all the equipment of the new one and none of the ugly traits

very few will have the plate so maybe it’s a silver lining

I’m going to own mine so want the best value possible

March-Sept plates statically hood their value more and are desired

also for two weeks I may aswell wait especially as 20 plate for all we know will be last MK3 cupra and that will also add value when selling

:)

I’m putting a plate straight on to but researched it and made me agree to 20 plate
