I keep seeing these advertised and keep wondering what they look/feel like.

How do you find them? Is it Diamond Car Mats?

Yeh they are Diamond ones @paddy6789

I've been same and looked at them for ages but been a bit wary. Read good comments and then the odd bad one like they've not received them. They are shipped from China but have a London address and took 9 days to make and get here so was well impressed

Quality is brilliant, they come with velcro already attached and some clips that are really thin that slide under plastic to hold in place. You get extra velcro and some spare clips plus another style of clip if you need it but I don't

They are supposed to be good wearing so only time will tell. Car is two week old today and you could already see where my heal was wearing on the original mats. Only problem now is I don't want to get them mucky with my boots :)

I used the 20% off code I found so paid £133

Hmmm not sure about red. Would like to see them in black first.

You’ll have to get some night shots too with your footwell lights :)

They do look good, I emailed them asking for black with copper stitching but they said no :(

Would’ve been perfect if they had done it.

So now I’m thinking of the complete black ones.

Yeh will do. The red ones come with gold stitching so not far off copper :) Complete black ones will be good too

Our car is 5year old in March, carpet mats so far are fine, are later ones different quality?
Just the quality of the carpets used, the mats aren’t bad but the carpet material used on the floors is that nasty cheap rubbish, seen in many french cars and so on. Not of the quality of audi / bmw carpets

The carpet mats in my VW look as good as new after nearly four years..............that’s because I replaced them with rubber OEM VW mats shortly after I got the car! :D. I don’t find the VW carpet mats to be particularly hard wearing either, based on how long they’ve lasted in previous VW’s I’ve owned, so maybe it’s a VAG thing with their standard fit carpet mats being poor quality.

There seems to be a general dislike of rubber mats on many forums because some think they can look a bit utilitarian, but I prefer them; they’re hard wearing, easy to clean (a quick wipe over and they’re back to looking new again), there’s no issue with wet footwear causing damp carpets, and the rubber mats have a raised lip around the edge to keep any unwanted moisture or dirt on the mat until it’s emptied out of the car.

I got my OEM genuine VW rubber mats for my VW from the dealer. They’re a perfect fit - as I’d expect them to be, being an official VW accessory item, and they have the same stud fastening as the carpet mats, so they’re held securely in place.

I’d expect the Seat mats to be similar.

That thought did cross my mind. Hopefully, they’ll repel dirt pretty well and be easy to clean.

The red looks nice, but it’s a bit too bright for me. If I was considering buying these, I think I’d have gone for a black or very dark grey version from a practicality perspective and to blend in with the rest of the Cupra’s interior. That’s just me though, and we all like different things which is good, otherwise life would be boring.

What's the website? They look good. I'd go for full black if available.
How are you finding magnetic grey as your new car colour? I personally love it and find it looks good in all light conditions, even when dirty.
