If you prefer the oval exhaust you could use the mk7 golf r estate exhaust. It has one exit either side but is just as loud. Just cut and weld the ovals to it?

like here? where it seems also that the outlet piping is not fix to the muffler.

So just fitted the r exhaust on 2019 cupra dpf. Easy just need one cut and sleeve clamp.
Sound the bit loud but i will see.

One question guys. So....if an R estate exhaust is valid for our st's in terms of clamps and dimensions.....the Akrapovic model available from the Golf will fit ours too??? Even in our +19 GPF ST/R versions???

TBH, the guy that cleans my car could not do better than that - there is a lot of baked carbon.
Whoever owned the donor car probably never cleaned them.
When I have time and patience at home I will give them another go, but you should have seen what they looked like!

As far as i'm concerned is an aftermarket option directly from VW dealers. AK doesn't sell it directly to customers. AK was stock Exhaust in the 7.5 Golf R Performance Package. I believe both 5dr & State versions.

Finally, I hope for a similar line as a friend, home made in stainless steel by a local supplier. I just get back the car, need to wait to try it on long way, if needed, I will add short muffler.

Do you have middle resonator or just Cat -> GPF -> back boxes?

I'm going to fit the R exhaust to my Octavia RS with GPF, so it think will be pretty much the same result like in GPF equipped Cupra.

Mine gpf car so no mid box fitted.Exhaust sound much deeper and louder too.just enough loud too me.Shame no exhaust valve fitted because sometimes i want less noise after long day.Plus side when system warm up properly good dsg farts and another banging follow in sport or cupra.

this is cold start with higher rev.idiot gpf car do it every start no matter water temperature full warm and car just parked 10mins.

Louder and possibly same level as r estate inside. you can check some YouTube golf r estate inside video.
I hardly use motorway,city car for me but not so bad around 90-110 on motorway.my car sound insulated (doors,boot and under rear seat)so thats help however st interior louder or echo sounds(i cant find better word.my “little english”)
