Hi everyone been a bit of a lurker but though I would finally post a thread,

Got my Ibiza Fr ACT black edition back in October 2015. So far clocked up to 33k mile and loving it.

This is going to be a slow project really with just updates on anything I do with the car. No major mods so far. Just done some minor changes but will post some more later about what small things ive done do far and the mods I plan on doing.

Below is the day I got her and the cleanest the car has ever been.

Great looking motor!

Yer im in no rush as im in no rush to replace it really. good all rounder and does everything I need as a daily.

Yer I have a ever growing list and In no particular order:
Fix any scratches and dents I have accrued over the last 4 years
new wheels
fit splitter
replace front seats
fit boost gauge - done
fit new steering wheel
wide mouth look - done
coil overs
remap
exhaust
new head unit
dye the non black interior plastics plastic and headlining black
de wiper rear - Done
shark fin aerial
New seat belts

Some are a bit vague and if I see something that's an easy mod I will probs just do it as a go but that's what I would like to do as a goal.

Performance wise I would love to get to around 200bhp. After that I wouldn't chase anything more. It may be unachievable on the 1.4 ACT I don't really know tbh. Im not to fussed on chasing power numbers I plan on starting my dream build by engine swapping a classic mini in the next 18 month so that will be my track toy.

It looks really smart mate, the colour is subtle and goes well with the black wheels.

With a stage 1 remap and the right exhaust and induction setup you would be close to 200bhp, with the software alone you can reach around 180-185. It will have a nice little turn of pace whichever you go for.

Look forward to seeing the rest of the mods as you do them.

ACT stopped working now, all good to early to advise re mpg

Interesting that you mention about the ACT not working. I could feel that mine wasn't working the first time I started the engine and drove after my remap, but the second time I started up the ACT was functioning again, as well as the stop-start.

The torque increase was very noticeable and I didn't notice any drop in the MPG, probably because I never needed to floor the pedal to get the car going thanks to that low-end pull.

Glad to hear about the mpg impact. As said before I like the fact that its an all rounder, and wouldn't want to lose the ACT functionality completely. If i wanted that then i would buy something else with more power to start with knowing full well the mpg would be compromised

My previous car was a mini coopers s and the mpg was dreadful ~29-34 daily. Was great fun but couldn't justify the running costs. Plasti dip arrived this week so got a couple jobs this bank holiday weekend will get some pics up. Badges are a definite but may do bottom lip on the front as well and my wife's badges if i have any left.

If you have a sports exhaust you will find a sonic boom when the car goes from 2 cylinder to 4 cylinder mode that's very uncomfortable - the twin cats restrictive exhaust masks this sound

So finally got round to plastidipping the badges last weekend. Plan on doing the bit behind the plate and lower bumper this weekend weather permitting. Was easy and very happy with final product. Bought some cover for the door catches also.

Just little touches but make it look a bit smarter IMO. Got kill all wipers delete kit due this week. Hopefully get roof bars back on this weekend too.

Fitted a kill all wipers delete at weekend. Easy little mod. Will get some pics up when I can. Next mod I'm looking at is into dying the interior headlining black and spraying all the current non black plastics inside black.

I am looking at a black edition alcantara seat upgrade
Come to think of it I haven’t posted any interior pics. They look good but in my personal opinion I don’t think they are that great. The seating position in my view is too high , no lumbar support , feel that I move around a lot in corners . when I can I will replace mine.
