So as the new Cupra 290 dont have the rear flag badge i decided to buy one and have a play around with one and change it up abit whilst i wait for my car to be delivered (hopefully this month), i know it is not the best and still needs tidying up around the edges etc, just wondered what peoples thoughts are? In my head i thought the design would be quiet good but now ive done it im not sure on it lol, the car ive gone for is Mystery Blue,

Good effort, although I think all copper may of worked best, or a darker more metallic blue?

Thanks mate, it is copper but the picture makes it look more gold for some reason, the wrap is from EZMods, who make the copper overlay letters for the CUPRA letters which ive heard is a close match to the copper S on the new models, agree on the more metallic blue, may be better buying a mystery blue touch up pen and drawing it on :D

What paint did you use? I tried spraying my 290 badge, used grey primer then when I sprayed the gloss black it started to craze at the edges of the chrome inset and numbering, had to wipe it all off and it even took the primer off, disaster

I took it to a local paint shop who sprayed it gloss black for me, the copper bits on the flag and the blue are vinyl wrap cut to size, the 290 letters are done with a paint pen, very stressful to get the wrap right as im an impatient person as it is:roflmao:

Could you please give me the ref for the copper paint that you used for the numbers.
