Easiest way is to wrap them, first mod im doing right away when my car is delivered

Had this car just coming up two weeks and just getting to know it at the moment, loving the engine, dash and dsg just hope it gets louder!!

First front wheel drive car for a while but handles very well!

Hi All,

Took some pictures of my new car today after it was washed yesterday.

I liked the change in the copper coloured seat badges but didn’t like Seat removing the flag on the rear so I bought a genuine 290 one and put it on the rear. I personally like small details like the badges. I guess it’s a marmite topic

Just wondering how much miles you getting out of a full tank of fuel? Mine is 1 bar away from half tank and only done 100miles. Was told first couple of fill ups may not show true mpg but atm maybe I'm being to heavy footed.

Had my 300 since October, do short journeys and drive it hard now and again, my long term average is now at 25.2mpg and I get anywhere between 200-300 a tank depending on how may longer trips I do.
interestingly I have noticed that if I use it in manual mode and drive it hard I dont get that much of a drop in MPG, if anything I get better MPG driving it in manual and sensible than I do in auto.

I get around 350 miles from my 280, got 380 on my second tank and I’ve only just got it so had plenty of playing about...

Well it’s mostly due to everyday city driving, that means lot of stopping and I do not use start stop system. Second reason for sure is driving style, I keep it mostly in cupra and like to hear those dsg farts and pop and bangs on the downshift which really do not help with the economy.
I’m in Croatia living near the city centre with close to none open road commute, it’s always rush hour basically.
But I’m satisfied with consumption in all other situations, usually 8 l/100km on open road and around 10-11 l/100km for the highways 80-110mph (sry for the units).

Is it illegal to wrap the lights on the car or is this something I’ve just heard? Wanted to do the same but have been put off by that
